Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist & Mentor Heavy Metal Engineering

Location: Edinburgh

Contract: 37-hour week (rotating shift pattern)

Overtime: Available at enhanced rates

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proven experience in the heavy metal industry to join our team at a major manufacturing company that has nearly doubled its workforce in recent years. Key Responsibilities:

Operate a range of equipment, including Semi-Automatic Bandsaws, CNC Drills, Hydraulic Presses, and 3 Axis Milling MachinesSet and operate CNC Milling Machines to precise specificationsPlan, program, and inspect products for accuracy and qualityProduce components to meet key industry standardsProvide guidance and mentoring to junior staffRotate between days, lates, and nights in line with our shift pattern Essential Requirements:

Extensive experience in the heavy metal engineering sectorAbility to operate and set CNC machinery and other shop floor equipmentStrong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and train colleaguesFlexibility to work a rotating shift pattern What We Offer:
