Kinetic Recruitment are looking for multiple Semi-Skilled Machine Operatives for a leading manufacturing site in Bromborough.

Salary: £27,886 per annum.

4 on 4 off, continental shift pattern.

2 days and 2 nights | 7:00am-19:00pm | 19:00pm-07:00am.

**THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION**

Essential Skills:

* Manufacturing environment experience

* Recycling or the plastics industry

* Mechanical knowledge of the plastics processing machinery

* Processing

* Extrusion

* Machine operation

* Fault finding

* Training to personnel (either 1-1 or on the job)

* Working unsupervised and to your own initiative

* Proficiency in IT - Navision, Excel or other computer programmes

* Knowledge of ISO Management Systems

Full training will be provided, usually passed within a 2 year period to work towards progression of higher grades and higher salary potential.

Duties include:

* Manufacture high quality blown film to the required customer standards whilst maintaining a safe working environment.

* To ensure dedicated machines run with minimal scrap and downtime while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

* Reporting to Extrusion Team Leader / Shift Manager.

* Working with Senior Production Technician, Engineering Department, Warehouse Manager, Operations Team and Continuous Improvement Manager.

* Ensure the department is clean, tidy and safe at all times

* Communicate with the Team Leader to ensure all changeovers are planned and to ensure all labour is provided to execute the changeovers with regards to SMED.

* Complete job documentation as and when required.

* Ensure all kags are always fully loaded and dosing in to blends where applicable.

* Work safely and wear all required PPE when needed.

* Take responsibility for ensuring customer orders are set up to specification.

* Operate all machinery within the department, including inline recycling machines.

The role will involve the manual handling of loads, up to 20kg and you will be on your feet for long periods of time.
