Maxlight Ltd is a London based manufacturing company specialising in high-end glass sliding doors as well as other glass structures and products. We operate and have customers nationwide, but all our manufacturing is undertaken in Acton, London.

As business continues to grow, Maxlight has a new vacancy for a semi skilled door/window fabricator to carry out preparation and assembly of doors and windows in our factory.

Knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude required:, the rate offered will depend upon yior experience.

* Some experience with working with glass, aluminium and steel frames

*

Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and appropriate Risk Assessments.

Safely operating various machinery (after training).

*

Handling materials and finished products in line with manual handling procedure.

*

Packing and loading of finished products and accessories ready for site deliveries.

*

Unloading and checking of incoming deliveries.

*

Attending sites to carry out remedial work, if required.

*

Undertaking assembly work of windows and doors utilising hand power tools and other tools.

There is a generous annual bonus scheme and overtime is available.

The successful candidate will report into our head of manufacturing.

The role is based from our modern HQ & factory in North Acton, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Central Line tube station. We also have free car parking on site.
