Salary: Piece work equivelont to £14 to £17 PH

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Semi Drycaster to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in casting stone products using semi-dry techniques and will be responsible for producing quality stone pieces efficiently to meet production targets. This is a piece-rate position, meaning pay is based on the number of quality pieces produced, offering strong earning potential for motivated and skilled individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working on a bench hand compacting and troweling up semi dry concrete mix into wooden moulds

* Turning out moulds and placing them in a curing chamber.

* Prepare the correct mixture consistency and quality control.

* Carefully handle, fill, and level moulds to achieve uniformity and adherence to product specifications.

* Maintain a steady pace of production to achieve piece rate targets while meeting quality standards.

* Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring each item meets quality guidelines.

* Ensure all casting areas are kept clean and orderly, maintaining a safe working environment

* Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to supervisors for timely repairs.

Requirements:

* Experience: Previous experience in dry casting or a related production role is highly desirable.

* Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently under piece-rate conditions.

* Physical Stamina: Able to lift molds and raw materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

* Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to achieving high production standards.

* Safety: Familiarity with and commitment to workplace health and safety protocols.
