Job Title: Scheme Coordinator

Overview of Scheme Coordinator:

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within London Borough of Harrow for a self–driven and motivated Scheme Coordinator to join an expanding team. The role of the Scheme Coordinator has a competitive pay rate of 16.86 per hour. Other benefits include excellent training and support for career development and 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Main Purpose of the Scheme Coordinator:Provide an enhanced Housing Management service to Sheltered Housing Tenants.Ensure the highest standard of service in line with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.Work flexibly to meet individual and communal needs, while maximizing independence and choice, and respecting privacy and dignity.Deliver a comprehensive Enhanced Housing Management service to help Tenants maintain their Tenancy, access housing services, use technology appropriately, and ensure effective signposting to other services.Conduct systematic monitoring and inspection of Sheltered Housing schemes to ensure secure, clean, and well–maintained communal areas and services, considering Tenant needs for planned maintenance.Address a range of complex issues that may significantly impact Tenants.Handle cash received from Tenants for Guest Room and TV licenses.Report and monitor the completion of household repairs for Tenants who are less able to do so, and coordinate/deploy a handy person to provide a more accessible and tailored service.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements for Sheltered Housing schemes.Working knowledge of risk assessments and risk management.Ability to organize and prioritize workload, and act promptly in urgent situations.Experience working independently with minimal supervision.Experience in developing risk assessments.Significant experience in a similar role, particularly working with older people.
