Operating in highly regulated and demanding industrial sectors, they have successfully executed pivotal projects across energy, renewables, water, and manufacturing domains.

They are seeking a skilled Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will manage the sales ledger function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes. As the company continues to grow, this role will remain dedicated to the sales ledger, providing support and guidance to additional Sales Ledger Clerks as they are onboarded.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage sales ledger entries, including the input of new customer orders and modifications in the accounting system.

- Allocate bid numbers for the sales team.

- Collaborate with project teams to ensure invoices are created promptly.

- Generate invoices for customers as requested by project managers.

- Distribute customer account statements.

- Oversee credit control processes to ensure payments are collected on time.

- Record cash receipts in customer accounts and keep the sales ledger updated.

- Support with additional duties as they arise, such as assisting with year-end audits.

Experience Required:

- A minimum of 4 years+ of experience in a sales ledger position, or a role with significant sales ledger responsibilities

- Familiarity with Excel and accounting software systems.

- Strong focus on detail and precision in work.

- Effective communication skills for liaising with various teams.

- AAT Part Qualified (desired).
