As an RF Engineer, you'll be helping to deliver complex and unique challenges for Roke's National Security customers to enable mission critical success. Your responsibilities will be varied and wide ranging, as shown below:

The Key Responsibilities Responsible to System Design Authority (SDA) and Project Manager (PM)Undertake engineering development tasks to time, budget and qualityProvide accurate estimates of effort and complexity, and identify risksEngage with other multi-disciplinary technical expertsCompliance with Roke policies and procedures (such as REP)Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder's experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business.Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry; working alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges by bringing the physical and the digital together.

The Key Requirements Manage the derived requirements of RF sub-systems, contributing to solving client needsDesign of RF, analogue, interface, control and conversion circuitsWrite and conduct sub-system tests for your designsProduce supporting documentation, in accordance with Roke Engineering ProcessSupport integration and test activitiesContribute to the Roke Innovation process (where appropriate)Contribute to an RF relevant Profession within RokeManage your professional development with your line-manager.Built over a 60-year heritage, Roke offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML. Where you'll work

You'll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest District and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with ample parking an on-site gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.

Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the U.K. for the last 10 years.
