Retail Assistant – Christmas Temp

As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to a wide range of external and internal customers, including key stakeholders.

Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding the organisation's customer service charter.Display product knowledge and apply tactful sales techniques to maximise sales.Contribute towards daily sales targets through effective selling skills and excellent product knowledge.Become familiar with the department's services to handle customer queries.Promote the online shop in line with customer service standards.Accurately manage till operations and end–of–day cashing up procedures.Collaborate with Retail Managers and the back–office team to replenish stock and merchandise displays effectively.Requirements:

Relevant experience in a retail environment with a proven track record of increasing sales.Stockroom/warehouse experience with knowledge of Health and Safety and Manual Handling.Experience delivering excellent customer service to a diverse customer base, upholding diversity, equality, and inclusion principles.Strong team player with excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.– Desirable: Experience with till operations and basic MS Office computer skills.
