Reformer Pilates Instructor – Small Group Classes

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £20 per hour

About Us:

Soul Pilates is a boutique reformer studio in the heart of Glasgow which specialises in Reformer Pilates. SOUL currently offers private personalised sessions.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Pilates Instructor to teach small group classes of up to 4 clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach small group Reformer Pilates classes at both a beginner & dynamic level

- Tailor each class to meet individual needs within the group

- Create engaging, varied, and flowing classes each week that cater to both beginners and more advanced clients, using creativity to keep sessions exciting and fresh

- Educate clients on proper Pilates techniques and form

Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating class environment

- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during classes

- Ensure a safe and supportive environment during classes

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio

Requirements:

- Certified in Reformer Pilates (preferably STOTT or equivalent)

If not yet certified, planning to comple training by January 2025

- Good knowledge of anatomy

- Experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction is advantageous

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching style to different fitness levels and needs
