Senior Quantity Surveyor

WFH – 3 Month Interim Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a national facilities management provider, managing a range of projects. You will join an experienced team and take financial charge of projects.

The role:

Vet, appoint and negotiate subcontract packages for projects Pre–contract pricing and agreement project costs, submission of cash flow forecasts Prepare and agree CVR S / interim valuations and agree final accounts Managing financial accounts and report to Senior Management on the project performance Monitor progress, secure payments, if necessary, issues formal notices / contractual claims Attend project support meetings Requirements:

Worked on Social Housing Schemes or have NHF Expertise Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, although other equivalent qualifications may be accepted such as HNC/HND if backed up with extensive work experience. Good knowledge of measurement and valuations and standard forms of contract Ability to negotiate with clients/sub–contractors Experience of value engineering Exposure to resolving disputes Good negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
