Quantity Surveyor

Location: Beeston, NottinghamSalary: 46,535 – 48,984Job Type: Full–time Permanent We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a large housing association. This role involves managing contractor accounts, providing regular reports and analysis, and offering commercial insights to ensure financial efficiency.

Day–to–day of the role:

Manage individual contractor accounts effectively.Review applications for payments and create weekly and monthly reports for the Commercial Manager and Commercial Director as required.Liaise directly with key stakeholders and contractors to ensure that contracts meet financial and performance targets.Play a key role in budget management and financial oversight.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a planned works quantity surveying or commercial environment.Experience in a social housing or housing maintenance environment (either client or contractor side).Understanding of NHF and other bespoke schedule of rate–based contracts.Excellent planning, budgeting, organising, and prioritisation skills.Strong report writing skills and ability to interpret financial and other systems data.Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to build and sustain working relationships with different departments to achieve goals.Capable of working in a fast–paced environment and managing multiple activities and priorities to meet deadlines.Willingness to take on new responsibilities and a desire to develop new skills to progress within the organisation.How to apply:
