Coorie Home Stays is seeking a reliable, multi-skilled Handyman/Maintenance Worker to join our team on a permanent basis. This role comes with guaranteed hours and the flexibility to choose between 20-40 hours per week, making it perfect for someone looking for stability while maintaining control over their schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the condition of our portfolio of properties, ensuring they remain attractive and functional for the short-term rental market.

Key Responsibilities:

Painting and decorating properties to maintain and enhance their appeal.
Building and assembling furniture for new and existing properties.
General property maintenance, including minor repairs, fixing fixtures, and fittings.
Ensuring properties meet high cleanliness and safety standards for guests.
Conducting basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as required.
Responding to emergency maintenance calls when necessary.
Working alone on smaller tasks and collaborating with additional staff or contractors when needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in property maintenance, painting, decorating, and furniture assembly.
Must own a vehicle compliant with Low Emission Zones (LEZ).
Own tools required for a variety of maintenance tasks.
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends based on property needs.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
