Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Exeter

Duration: 12 months

Work Pattern: Hybrid 3 days office & 2 days home

Rate: £500 Inside IR35

People Group are looking for a Project Manager to work for a leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be looking after the leakage detection framework which is 3 million a year.

You'll have 37 leakage techs and 3 regional engineers. Responsible for the performance of the leakage techs in line with south west water’s leakage targets.

Support the project Sponsor in preparing and maintaining definitions of the project requirements.

Empower and inspire others to deliver successful projects

Identify and monitor project risks (threats and opportunities), plan and implement mitigations to them, and respond to other issues that affect the project

Engage with and lead stakeholder relationships including internal and external parties, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests.

Establish and maintain governance arrangements for the delivery of projects, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with organisational practice. Managing project reviews at appropriate points throughout the project lifecycle which will inform governance decisions of projects by providing evaluations of progress, performance, risk, contingency and continuing relevance.

Manage and update business cases that justify projects in terms of benefits, costs and risksTo be successful in this position, were looking for some who has;

Experience working for a Tier 1 water contractor on Leakage detection

Degree or equivalent with professional work experience in one or more specific disciplines in the Construction, Programme, Project or Commercial Management disciplines
