Project Analyst - Peterborough (Hybrid) - Up to £28/hr - Inside IR35 - 12 month initial contract - Long Term

This company, a global leader in the engineering sector, is looking for a Project Analyst to join their dynamic UK Global Program Management Group. What You Will Do:

Lead planning meetings and develop detailed work breakdown structures for smaller projects.

Utilise Microsoft Project and GPMUK tools to develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery.

Coordinate with Program Leads to schedule and support program control meetings, making necessary schedule adjustments.

Create and maintain essential project documentation, including issues/action logs, risk registers, and scope change requests.

Advocate for robust planning practices within project teams to achieve targets on time, on cost, and to the required quality.

Provide training on program management processes and software to Program Coordinators and project teams.

What You Will Bring:

Proven experience with project management concepts, including project charters, scheduling and planning projects, and successful on-time delivery.

Strong project management skills, indirect leadership skills, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask effectively, strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or to influence others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.

Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Web Publishing tools.

Desirable: A recognized Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince 2, PMP).
