Production Manager

The Client

Our Client is a well established company within the water treatment industry. For four decades they have forged a well deserved reputation at the forefront of this industry in the UK. In addition to distributing standard products their ability to build bespoke water treatment solutions to a customers specification has helped set them apart from the competition.

The ROLE

Due to continued success they now require a Production Manager to oversee the production process. The successful candidate will be required to:

Lead a small team of multi–disciplined (mechanical and electrical) assemblers

Plan production schedule

Order the products to ensure stock levels remain adequate

Quality standards

Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed

Monitor productivity rates and product standards

Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients

Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget

The CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for strong applicants with experience in a similar role, the right candidate will:

Posses a background in assembly/production

Production planning/scheduling experience

Multiskilled

Supervisory/Management experience

Location: Based in Hitchin
