Private Banker

Our Central London client in the Banking sector is seeking a Private Banker to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of up to 65,000 - 70,000 on offer. This role comes with a great perks package including private healthcare, generous holiday.

What does the role entail?

The role will primarily involve active client business development, including regular business development trips to our markets. Please see below the key responsibilities of the role:

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing personalised banking solutions tailored to their unique needs and financial goals.Market Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the African market to identify new business opportunities, understand market trends, and provide clients with relevant investment advice.Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.Business Development: Identify and attract new high-net-worth clients from the African market, expanding our client base and contributing to the growth of the Bank. What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this Private Banker role will be highly capable of carrying out the duties listed above and must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Private Banker or similar position with a strong focus on the African Market. You must have a Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certification (for example: CFA) are highly desirable. Excellent understanding of the financial products and services offered to high-net-worth clients and cultural awareness would be required along with an established network of high-net-worth individuals and business contacts within the African market.
