Vibe Recruit are working with a leading British manufacturer of quality metal ceilings and bespoke architectural metalwork in the Bridgend area. They design and supply commercial ceilings and interiors and produce suspended ceilings for a vast range of spaces, for all matter of public and private clients across the world.

We are currently recruiting for a skilled press setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with sheet metal. As well as experience using and interpreting engineering drawings.

Shift Pattern

Mornings, 6am – 2pm

Afternoons, 2pm – 10pm

Candidates will need to be flexible to cover both shifts.

Payrate

Mornings – 13.67

Afternoons – 14.67

Responsibilities

– Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and shape sheet metal.

– Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure the correct specifications

– Utilise mechanical knowledge to set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance

– Use hand tools to complete tasks with precision.

– Maintain equipment, with regular maintenance checks and cleaning

– Work as part of a team to ensure all company requirements are met.

Requirements

– Experience in a similar role

– Experience working with sheet metal

– Strong attention to detail
