Powder Coat Painter – Evening Shift

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday to Thursday starting at 15.00pm with flexibility on hours

Hourly Rate / Salary: Up to £13 p/h

Duration: Full Time/Part Time

Contract type: Permanent

We’re seeking an additional Powder Coat Painter due to growing demand. This position is ideal for both semi-skilled or skilled individuals, including those with experience in wet painting, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

* Powder coating application

* Silk screening

* Masking and unmasking

* Pre- and post-paint cleaning of components

* Loading and unloading parts

* Hole tapping, wrapping, and packing for finished items

Skills and Experience Required:

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent focus

* Flexible approach to work to adapt to changing client needs

* Strong attention to detail

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting

* Team-oriented but capable of working independently

* Ability to follow both written and spoken instructions

* Adaptability to a warm work environment due to paint shop ovens

* Physically capable of lifting and handling large items (within health and safety limits) above shoulder height
