Job Title: Postal Worker – Collections (Driving Licence required)

Location: Royal Mail, Dunfermline

Start Date: 11th November 2024

Contract Length: Until 7th January 2025

Pay Rate: 16.58 per hour

Working Hours: 12:30pm – 18:30pm, Monday – Friday

Overtime may be available.

If successful, you must be able to pass a disclosure check.

Pertemps are delighted to be supporting Royal Mail in recruiting Parcel Drivers in the Stirling area.

If you have excellent customer service skills and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing industry, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:You'll start your day in the local depot where you will be allocated a number of parcels to collect over the course of your shift.You'll be given a hand–held device to capture customer signatures for collections. The hand–held device will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next.The role will be physically demanding and walking (sometimes for large distances) will be required. You will also be required to collect parcels weighing up to 20kg.Driving will be required for this role.

Key Skills:Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Strong communication and customer service abilities.A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.Working outdoors in all weathers is required
