Leading international Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to assist in the creation of life-saving drugs.

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately in line with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Duties may include:

Ensuring all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately for our homecare customers across the UK & Ireland

Working closely with internal departments including Patients' Services, the Production Unit and Warehouse to ensure the patients supply requirements are met

Liaising with the other Apprentice Dispensers, Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across all the dispensing and prescription management sections

Undertaking all activities related to the prescription management of Homecare prescriptions

Communicating effectively with the Hospitals and Surgeries to ensure a valid prescription is available for the supply of medicines to each patient

Promptly responding to any email and telephone queries that arise as part of the prescription processioning procedures

Shift working

Skills and experience:

Strong IT skills are essential, experience with SAP would be an advantage, however not essential

Excellent telephone manner is essential

GCSE's in Maths, English and Science

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail
