I am looking for personal care for a Child

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week: 4 hours per week. Sundays, term time. Days and time flexible during the school holidays

Hourly pay rate: £11.44 per hour. Mileage expenses: 45p per mile

Are you looking for an active, fun role? I am looking for a calm, creative and happy personal assistant for my 11 year old son with Autism. He loves baking, walks, sensory play/activities, swimming (anything to do with water really!). He flaps his hands and jumps up and down when he is happy. He is generally very chilled out but there are moments when he is a bundle of energy and needs to busy and focused. He loves one to one support. As a PA, you will accompany him on outdoor activities such as swimming, picnics, going to the park, ensuring his safety and helping him feel secure to participate in activities and experiences. Duties include:

Eating and drinking assistance
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Help with accessing and participating in social and leisure activities, going to parks, café, picnics, swimming, leisure centres.

Candidate qualities:

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
