Personal Advisor

Duration: Initially 3 months

Hours: 36 hours a week

Rate: 25 umbrella an hour ( 20 PAYE an hour)

Location: Morden (3 days a week in the office)

Merton Council are looking for a Personal Advisor to join their Preparing for Adulthood Team. As a Personal Advisor you will:

Provide practical help and direct support to young people and young adults using the service from age 16 and are in care or have recently left care, or who are unaccompanied asylum seeking children, to become independent and inspire them to set ambitious goals for themselvesManage a caseload involving the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of appropriate actionUse agreed assessment framework in collaboration with the individual to robustly assess their needs and develop corresponding tailored intervention Pathway PlansReview the Pathway Plans at no less than six monthly intervalsIdentify accommodation needs and assist young people in securing appropriate accommodation options.

Requirements

Experience delivering high-quality services to young people, families or other vulnerable individualsExperience within a similar roleValid driving license and access to a vehicle
