We are recruiting for Payroll / Finance Assistant for one of our prestige clients in Coventry, CV4 area!

Established over 30 years ago, our client is a medium sized company specialising in world-class CNC Precision Engineering.

PERMANENT POSITION

Standard working hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (flexibility required on payroll days)

Salary: Up to 14.00 depending on experience

Please note, this is a 100% office based job.

Payroll

- Record and produce weekly and monthly Payroll accurately

- Submit Deductions (including CSA) and maintain accurate record keeping

- Generate and record P32/FPS/EPS

- Post Payroll Journals for month-end reporting

- Calculate and submit P11D/Annual leave Accruals accurately

- Update Headcount regularly

- Monitor Payroll Email box and handle relevant queries

- Assist with end-of-year accounts preparation

- Manage workload for timely and accurate contribution to monthly financial reporting process

Finance Assistant

- Assist in reconciling 10 bank accounts across 4 currencies

- Aid in Debtors and Creditors management

- Support intercompany reconciliation

- Fulfill ad-hoc duties assigned by the Group Financial Controller

Additional Duties

- Fulfill reasonable management requests

- Attend staff meetings as required

- Offer flexible support to the business as needed

- Attend training linked to job role development

- Minimize waste for company and environmental benefit

Skills

- Experience in Excel

- Proficiency in SAGE 50 & SAGE 50 Payroll
