Part-Time Care Assistant for Children Services (High Wycombe, HP10 9 Area) | £12.00 per hour
Marygold Care UK is a trusted domiciliary care agency based in North Harrow, rated "Good" by the CQC. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker/Care Assistant for a specific child client in the High Wycombe (HP10 9) area. This role is ideal for someone local who is passionate about providing high-quality care to children with varying needs.
Key Details:
Part-time, Zero-Hour Contract Shift Times: 7:15 - 8:15 and 19:00 - 20:00 (potentially subject to change) Location: High Wycombe (HP10 9 Area) – applicants must be within walking distance or have access to a vehicle. What We Offer:
Pay Rates: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour (based on experience and skills) Full Training & Online Courses: Experience is preferable but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and ongoing refresher courses. Flexibility: We understand your commitments and will work with you to accommodate your availability. Sick Pay & Paid Annual Leave: Statutory Sick Pay (Conditions Apply) and 28 Days Paid Annual Leave. The Role:
You will be providing essential care to a child client in their own home. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care, while promoting dignity and independence.
Supporting with daily activities, including meal preparation and assistance during meal times.
Supporting during periods of emotional dysregulation, applying patience and understanding to manage triggers.
Offering companionship and emotional support, ensuring the child’s needs are met.
Recording daily health notes and any relevant changes in the client’s condition.
Providing mobility assistance, ensuring client is safely transferred using mobility aids.
Requirements:
Location: Must be within walking distance to the HP10 9 area or have reliable access to a vehicle.
Experience: Preferable but not required; full training provided.
Driving License: UK or International driving license is highly preferred if not within walking distance.
Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (CEFR level B1 or above).
