We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join an expanding local business on a temporary to permanent basis, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Supporting the Finance Manager, typical duties include:

Balance Sheet ReconciliationsP&L Nominal CodesCheck postings are correctSupport with month end reportingAssist with producing management accountsInput payroll information - including management of time and attendance systemOther adhoc duties to support the team Applications are invited from individuals with the following experience:

Part qualified or qualified by experience

Previous experience of working as an Assistant Accountant is essential

Able to work with minimal supervision

IT Literate, Microsoft Excel experience is essential

Team player with a flexible attitude

This is a part time role, ideally working Monday - Friday 9 -3 (There is flexibility on days/hours), with the potential to become a permanent role after the first 3 months.
