Job Title: Part–Time Van Driver

Location: Jarrow

Position: Part–Time (20–30 hours per week)

We are currently seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Part–Time Van Driver.

Job Description: As a Part–Time Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various retail shops in the area. This role requires a self–motivated individual who is committed to providing outstanding service while ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a company van to deliver products to designated locations. Load and unload delivery items, ensuring they are handled carefully and arrive in good condition. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to complete deliveries on time. Maintain an accurate log of deliveries, including mileage and delivery verification. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and shop representatives for smooth operations. Ensure the van is kept clean and in good working condition, including performing regular vehicle checks. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding transportation and delivery. Requirements:

Valid UK driving license (preferably clean with no major violations). Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is preferred but not mandatory. Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and carrying deliveries. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying hours, with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, typically around 30 hours. What We Offer:
