An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller within a division of a high performing, acquisitive European entity.

Reporting to an onsite MD and a remote parent company FD, you will be responsible for a small team whilst managing accounting standards and procedures of the business such as the transactional functions, monthly management accounts, statutory returns, budget preparation and cashflow forecasting.

With major investment on hand, we are looking for an ambitious finance professional (ideally studying or recently completed studies) with the desire to qualify. The operation has plans to grow significantly over the next few years and as such, offers a very real possibility of the incumbent becoming their future FD.

You are likely to have studied or are studying ACCA/CIMA and have experience in assessing and improving processes, ideally, though not exclusively, within an engineering or construction environment.

This position will require a strong communication style to influence senior management who are always willing to listen to suggestions and ideas that may improve or benefit the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a young part qualified or recently qualified accountant with designs on becoming a future Finance Director.
