The Company

Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Panel Wirer for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Birtley area.

The Role

* Building and wiring of control panels, cabinets and sub-assemblies

* Assembly control panel back-plates with components/trunking

* Following panel layout, schematics diagrams and reading engineering drawings

* Marking of devices and labelling, etc

* Wiring, cutting, stripping, crimping and fitting of buzz bars

* Working with back plates, filling frame-work

* Working with switchboards

* Wiring of electrical devices including cable management and termination

* Experience with use of hand tools and power tools

The Person

* Preferably time served

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Self-disciplined and reliable

* Excellent inter-personnel communication skills

* Enthusiastic, determined, self-disciplined and reliable

Shifts:

Dayshift

* 8:00am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday

Rates:

£15.00 per hour

(Rates are subject to change based on experience)

Candidates will be reviewed after a six month probation, rates can be up to £20.00 per hour
