Paint Shop Technician – Nuneaton – GBP26,000 per annum (rising to GBP27,812 after probation) – Permanent

Exciting Opportunity: Paint Shop Technician – Paint Prepper & Polisher

Do you have paint experience with carbon fibre or high–end cars? This is a golden opportunity to join an industry–leading company that is at the forefront of conceptual design and manufacture of new products. Situated within the dynamic fields of Automotive, Aerospace, and Motorsport industries, this position not only offers the chance to work on exciting projects but also contributes significantly to the company's goal of providing a one–stop service for series production.

What You Will Do:

Prepare surfaces, mask, and mount components prior to paint, ensuring a high standard of work.Carry out quality checks upon completion, adhering to all requirements for hazardous and non–hazardous waste disposal.Work on and prepare carbon fibre parts to an exceptional level of quality.Follow work instructions meticulously to meet customer requirements.Polish gloss finish components to achieve a high–quality end product.Contribute to the team by working well within a group setting as well as independently. What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in prepping and polishing, preferably with carbon fibre parts.Ability to prepare raw parts for primer and primer for topcoat.Skilled in using filler for pinholes and voids, and able to remove shape issues from a panel to give a flat surface.Experience in a high–pressured/fast–paced environment, ideally within the Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport industry.Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Double day shifts – Mon – Thurs 6:00 – 14:30 & 14:15 – 22:45 Friday 6:00 – 11:00 & 10:45 – 15:45
