Packhouse Operations Administrator

Fresh People are currently recruiting for a Packhouse Operations Administrator for a Fresh Produce Business based in the Maidstone area in Kent . In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all orders that the business receives are processed, recorded on the appropriate system, correct dispatch paperwork is prepared, and that haulage is arranged across all companies including the service provision business .

The Person

Suitable candidates will have previously worked in Fresh Produce preferably from within a Packhouse as an Administrator or Packhouse supervisor previously. Excellent attention to detail , working knowledge of processing orders, maintaining accurate records of dispatch paperwork, confident on the phone as will be required to arrange haulage using a variety of systems . Key focus on accuracy , excellent communication skills, ability to work to tight deadlines and deal with large volumes of data with outstanding attention to detail required

Job Description

* Ensuring all controls and processes are adhered to.

* Creating and processing all orders , registering any amendments on orders

* Communicating orders to packhouse, admin, procurement and sales teams.

* Entering Sales and Import orders into KeyPrime system , ensuring every order has a delivery note prior to dispatch

* Responsible for dispatching orders from KeyPrime system

* Managing transport – booking and communicating with hauliers, creating load plans.

* Assisting with query and offering a resolution.

* Operating and producing ASN labels and the relevant paperwork into the customers systems.

* Chasing, record and sending PODs for the required customers

* Collaborating with different departments providing requested information

* Sorting and organising all of the documentation to the archive

* Covering team members on duty shifts
