Sure Staffing UK Ltd is pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for the night hygiene manager.

Our client is leading specialist in the production of garlic bread and spreads, based in Hull, East Yorkshire .

The Night Hygiene Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards or visual and microbiological hygiene are consistently maintained across all areas of the site.

They are to ensure all equipment and areas around the site are included in the hygiene management systems with relevant controlled documentation. The Night Hygiene Manager will have a focus on training and building a strong hygiene team, whilst assisting with hands on cleaning.

Main responsibilities :

Ensure all the manufacturing, packing, storage, and staff facility areas are cleaned thoroughly on a scheduled basis.Ensure the required microbiological results are achieved.Review the company hygiene procedures and make sure these are adhered to.Set KPI's and objectives for the hygiene team and monitor performance against these.Build and promote a strong, long–lasting hygiene team, by supporting them and understanding their requirements.Manage and enforce all training, COSHH, PPE, cleaning, and Health and safety procedures.Adopt a hands–on approach and direct, monitor and motivate the Hygiene team.Manage the cleaning of the office and staff facilities.Manage the laundry of factory garments ensuring supply of PPE for all personnelInform engineering of any defects/faults with plant and machineryKey holder for the companySummary of duties :

To oversee the team cleaning floors, walls, ceilings, strip curtains and other surfaces in the production areas.To ensure hygiene team strip each line or piece of machinery and clean thoroughly.To create and update CIC'sReplenishment of cleaning supplies including cleaning chemicals.To assist with any deep cleans.To follow all health & safety rules whilst using or diluting cleaning chemicals.Ensure correct PPE is being worn at all times.Comply with any training requirements necessary for your role.To complete all documentation in full and within required deadlines.Any other duties as requested by management.Previous Experience:

Hygiene Experience – Essential

Hygiene Experience within food manufacturing – Desired

Management Experience – Essential

9pm–5:30am Monday to Thursday with an earlier start on a Friday of 6pm–2:30am
