Trades Supervisor Hackney

Position: Trades Supervisor

Location: Hackney

Type: Full-Time

Pay: TBC

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trades Supervisor to join our team in Hackney. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong team and people management skills, capable of overseeing multi-trade operatives and contractors in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage multi-trades, including directly employed operatives (DLOs) and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, conducting risk assessments and leading toolbox talks. Drive productivity on-site, overseeing performance and ensuring quality assurance through regular audits. Effectively plan resources and workloads to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Scope void works and conduct post-inspections to ensure they meet Lettable standards. Maintain accurate documented records and reporting as required. Qualifications & Experience:

Recent experience in a similar role, specifically within void repairs, planned, or reactive maintenance. Local Authority/Social Housing sector experience is highly advantageous. Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and multi-trade activities. IT competent is desriable full clean UK driving license. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. A City & Guilds qualification, NVQ 3, or relevant experience in one or more trades is preferable.
