Our client, a renowned entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Missile Test Architect to join their team. This is a contract role based in Bolton or Stevenage, focused on defining and managing the requirements for Test Equipment and overseeing its development through to delivery and into service.

Key Responsibilities:

Collating Test Equipment requirements from all customers (Internal, Domestic and Export) across the Product Life CycleAssessing design documentation to ensure compliance with CE certification requirementsSupporting cross-functional teams to reduce test solution product defectsManaging status and records of reported test solution defectsInterfacing with and managing customer expectations throughout the development processReporting on test solution packages' time, cost, quality, and performance statusActing as the main point of contact between the project team and Test Equipment supplier

Job Requirements:

Substantial experience in Test, Electrical, and Electronic engineeringProficiency in Digital Electronics and Microprocessor Systems, Analogue Electronics and RF, Power Electronics, and Test Equipment DesignGood understanding of product certification against CE directivesExperience in requirements capture using DOORSKnowledge of structured Test Modelling techniquesProject management and planning skillsExperience in managing diverse and conflicting stakeholder interestsStrong leadership skills with the ability to establish a clear engineering visionAbility to influence managers and stakeholders across the companyDetermination and desire to succeedStrong interpersonal and well-developed communication skillsWillingness to travel when required, including to France
