How about a job as a Mental Health Case Worker in RCT (Llwynypia area).

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A 24 HOUR SERVICE, SO OVERNIGHT SHIFTS ARE A BIG PART OF THE ROLE.

What will you do?

You'll cover day and night shifts (sleep-ins) 2 or 3 shifts per week (on a rolling rota)A total of 37 hours on average per week, over a monthThere will be lone working at the projectSupporting individuals who struggle with their mental healthAssisting to promote independenceProviding emotional and practical supportReporting and recording any safeguarding issuesWorking with Case Workers and other team members, to provide an excellent service

What will you get?

Salary of 23,088 per yearAn extra overnight payment of 49.50 for every shiftWith shift payments, it will be possible to earn up to an extra 5,000 per yearApproximate 28,000 per year with all payments. Extra payments for any disturbed sleep during your shiftOptions for a permanent contract or temp to perm, depending on your needsA supportive and understanding employerWork for a charity that aims to make a positive impact on the community

What do you need?

Experience of support work in a setting that includes mental healthSolid values around building trust, empathy and understandingKnowledge of trauma informed practice would be idealAccess to a vehicle is ESSENTIALA DBS on the update service is a distinct advantageKnowledge of safeguarding and confidentialityAbility to cover overnight / sleep-in shifts is essential
