Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Materials Handling Engineer based in Hull

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift or Materials Handling Engineer to join their team. As a engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of machinery incluidng Forklift trucks, Pallet Trucks, Lifiting Equipment, Low Level Access and more

On Offer:

£30,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary for a 40 hour week

Fully Expensed Work Vehicle and Fuel Card

High amount of overtime offered

Comprehensive training and development opportunitiesRequirements:

Experience in maintaining and repairing machinery such as Forklift trucks, Pallet Trucks, Lifiting Equipment, Low Level Access and more

Strong technical knowledge of mobile powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms

IPAF certification for mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)

LOLER certification for thorough examinations of lifting equipment

Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.

NVQ level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholder

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A commitment to workplace health and safety.

A valid driver's license.

Experience working on machinery from a range of manufacturers, including Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Haulotte, JCB, and Pecolift, among others.If you meet the above requirements and are looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company, please submit your application today.
