Our client, a large government customer, are seeking a Maritime Platform Safety Manager to join their team.

Brief Team Description

DAPW are the electrical design authority for all in service submarines. The team are broadly split into 3 main areas: Power, Sensors and control, and SignaturesThis post sits in the power section and is responsible for managing the platform safety aspects of the Electrical DA. Key Tasks

Management of all aspects of safety within DAPW and attendance at meetings, communication of all safety related aspectsAttending and managing actions to the SEC, HRG and HLHs which are applicable to the electrical DA Providing data and information into meetings, communication and managing completion of actionsAttending HAZIDs, managing safety assessments of DAPW design changes. Providing data and information into meetings, communication and managing completion of actionsEssential Experience

Experience managing safety in an engineering environmentExperience with UK submarinesDesired Experience/Skills Requirement

Understanding of electrical/electronic systems on UK submarines.
