Production Support Technician

Location – Thurrock

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel shutters and doors. Working with this medium sized manufacturer, you will be charged with supporting the powder coating department, ensuring the smooth running of the department

This is a mixed and varied role, whereby you will ensure the powder coating team have all the materials they need, paperwork is complete and the department is running smoothly.

Day to Day Duties

* Conducting basic quality checks and reporting any issues.

* Supporting the manufacturing process by moving materials and components.

* Issuing materials.

* Ensuring the department is running on time and that other departments are ready to pass work over / take work on.

* The packing of completed products and the completion of relevant paperwork.

* Cleaning off products after they have been powder coated.

* Administration for the Powder Coating team

About You

* This is a manual role, any candidate must be physically fit.

* Must have good written and verbal communication skills

* Experience of Microsoft word etc

* Willingness to work with the team to get the job done

* You must be a driver. There is no public transport to this location

This is a full time Permanent position, working hours are 7.30AM - 4.30PM Monday - Thursday with a 3.30 finish on a Friday. You will be required to work some Saturday.

You must have your own transport - This is not a location where you will be able to use public transport. You will either be a driver or live locally and willing to cycle.
