We are working on behalf of our client based in the heart of Stowmarket to find a hard working and reliable Operative to join a small team on a temp to perm basis and grow within the company.

This role requires someone who ideally has previous experience and knowledge working within a Labouring or Construction based environment, however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

This role would also suit a young person coming out of College who is looking to start their career in a hands on role and is willing to work their way up and develop their skills and knowledge within a manufacturing environment.

Main duties include -

Monitoring quality of the product and ensuring each product meets specification

Working with hand tools to carry out daily tasks

Safely operating large machinery (with assistance and training)

Working within a small team and assisting other team members where necessary

Efficiently working to targets to meet deadlines

Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines at all times

Working hours -

Monday to Friday

07:00-15:00

Occasional overtime available (once settled) during busy periods
