Management Accountant

Location: Harlow Area - Hybrid working available after initial onboarding period

Salary: Up to 65k + bonus and an attractive benefits package

Our client, a major player in it's specialised sector, is looking for a detail-oriented Management Accountant to help shape financial strategies and ensure clarity and accuracy across its reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established company in a highly influential role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant, you'll play a central role in maintaining and enhancing financial processes. Key areas of focus include:

Preparing monthly management accounts, posting journals, and creating insightful reports tailored to different audiences.

Carrying out detailed balance sheet reconciliations and preparing VAT returns.

Overseeing the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate depreciation records, and monitoring work in progress.

Assisting with the inter-company accounts and providing key documentation during audits.

Supporting the budget and quarterly forecasting cycles and monitoring financial performance against targets.

Providing ad-hoc financial information and meet regulatory reporting requirements.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and thorough Management Accountant who values precision and efficiency. Our client is looking for someone with:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification

Solid experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

Familiarity with accounting software.

A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.

Strong communication skills for effective teamwork across sites.

An understanding of confidentiality and legal obligations in managing sensitive financial data.
