Hourly Rate: 22.66 PAYE / 35 UmbrellaLocation: StevenageJob Type: TemporaryWe are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance Surveyor to join a large housing association on a temporary basis. The role involves handling legal disrepairs, damp and mould issues, and general domestic surveying across various locations in Stevenage.

Day to Day of the role:

Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of properties to assess repair needs, particularly focusing on legal disrepairs, damp, and mould.Prepare detailed reports and specifications for maintenance works required.Liaise with contractors to ensure repair works are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.Monitor and manage the progress of works, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.Provide expert advice and support to residents regarding maintenance issues.Maintain accurate records of surveys, works completed, and resident interactions.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Surveyor, particularly within the domestic sector.Ability to carry out pre and post inspectionsDisrepair experience (desirable not essential)Knowledge of legal disrepair cases and how to effectively handle them.Ability to work independently and travel across the specified locations.Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field are desirable.To apply for this Maintenance Surveyor position, please submit your CV or please reach out directly to me at
