Exciting opportunities are available for Machine Operatives in Mildenhall with one of West Suffolk's largest manufacturers!

You'll work hands–on with Assembly Machines or Multispindle Lathes, with flexible shift patterns to match your schedule. These roles offer a competitive salary and some of the best shift allowances in the region. After a successful 3–month probation, you'll be offered a permanent contract.

Machine Operative Duties Include:

Operating machinery in both assembly and lathe areas of the workshopPerforming full start–up and shutdown procedures for machines as neededConducting minor maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operationMonitoring production quality and addressing any issues promptlyAssisting with tooling changes and machine adjustmentsEnsuring a clean and organized working environmentSupporting team efforts to meet production targets and deadlinesExperience operating manual lathes, press machines or mechanical machinery from other industries such as food production would be highly beneficial. The shifts required for this role are working 06:00 – 18:00, 3 or 4 days a week, with one of those days being a weekend.
