We are pleased to be working with a well known independent Food Product manufacturer in the Colchester area, who are looking for a Machine Operative on a PERMANENT basis.

This role would suit an experienced Food Production / Machine Operative who is looking to move into Quality Control. Training on all aspects of quality will be provided for the right candidate, applicants will need their own transport due to location.

Duties of the Machine Operative

Carry out visual quality checks of product

Minimising rejection by implementing good manufacturing practices

Daily checks of production equipment

Printing of labels as per customer specification

Leasing between customers and suppliers

Dealing with customer complaints and rejections

Communicating packing requirements to the team The ideal Machine Operative

Experience in Food Manufacturing and Production preferred

Great attention to detail

Own transport due to location

Experience within Quality Control

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work Saturdays

Will need to be flexible with hoursPay and Hours

£12.03- £12.65 depending on experience

Varied hours from 07.30am -20.00pm

Work days can vary Monday - SundayBenefits
