SAR Commercial Ltd. (Reg. 626978) has ambitious plans to develop a luxury holiday let business and is hiring an experienced ‘Holiday Let Manager’ on a part-time basis to manage a portfolio of luxury properties in Edinburgh City Centre.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage listings across multiple digital platforms e.g Airbnb
Curate a personalised and authentic guest experience based on experience of luxury accommodation, property features and guest requirements.
Deliver a 5-star guest experience by managing the entire guest lifecycle - booking enquiry, booking confirmation, pre-arrival, checkin, duration of stay, checkout, post checkout.
Manage property preparation to high standards, including cleaning and maintenance.
Manage multiple suppliers e.g bedlinen and essentials, food and beverage, maintenance, home and interiors, cleaning.
Manage and supervise multiple properties digitally and in person, including in person guest meet and greet.

Skills and Experience

Luxury hotel or retail experience (minimum 2 years).
Strong oral and written communication, guest and supplier management skills. Proficiency in English and a European language is a bonus.
Ability to manage guest concerns and complaints, resolve disputes which may involve booking platforms and suppliers.
Financial acumen, ability to manage revenue and cost.
An eye for detail, personal effectiveness, drive, flexibility and ability to work within deadlines.
Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards applicable to holiday let market in Edinburgh.

Work Pattern

Part time and remote. Average of 20 hours per week (including evenings and weekends, dependent on bookings).
On call guest support from 8 am - 10 pm, may require support outwith of these hours in the case of an emergency only.
In person support required during property turnover (11 am - 3 pm) and guest checkin (3 pm onwards).

Compensation

Percentage revenue per booking - monthly earning potential of £800 per property.
Additional performance bonus on achieving revenue, cost and guest rating targets.
Business expense allowance.
Training and ongoing mentorship.
