Job Title: Locum Pharmacist Independent PrescriberLocation: Newport, WalesDuration: 8 - 12 weeks initially, view to extendSchedule: 4-5 weekdays per week. Hours either 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch)Start Date: ASAP (mid-late November 2024)Rate of pay: GBP31 - GBP37 per hour via Ltd Co, depending on prior experiencePay method - via Limited Company, or via Umbrella PAYEExperience required - ideally you will have completed the CPPE pathway, although strong candidates without this will be considered. Independent Prescribing qualification is a must. Prior GP surgery experience also required. EMIS Web or System One experience also ideal here. Day to day working duties:

As a specialist Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role assisting the GP surgery with medications reviews, with occasional support to the wider team with medication related administrative task (discharges and queries).

Prior GP Surgery experience required Med reviews role.Other admin related tasks will be requiredLiaising with the nursers and doctors within the wider PCN via MSTeams Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Working hours and contract duration:

This position will require you to work 4-5 weekdays per week, starting ASAP, for a period of between 8 - 12 weeks, with a view to extend.
