Role: Domestic Couple (Household Manager/Housekeeper & Estate Manager/Chauffeur/Gardener)

Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 0900-1700 (flexible with hours/ on call when the family are IR)

Location: Scotland, UK

Salary: £65,000-£75,000 (negotiable)

Accommodation: 2 Bed cottage with utilities covered

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and dedicated live-in Domestic Couple, for an UHNW family who reside near beautiful Gleneagles, in Perthshire, Scotland

Working in a stunning location you will be employed as a Household Manager/ Housekeeper & Estate Manager/Chauffeur/Handyman/Gardener - working together to ensure the household runs smoothly, support the family, and maintain the interior and exterior of the property and grounds

The Domestic Couple will be contracted to work a 5-day working week Monday to Friday, however should be extremely flexible with schedules when the Clients are in-residence. The family (and occasional Guests) reside at the estate for approximately 12 weeks over the year, so there are busier periods with ‘all hands-on deck’, and quieter periods to catch up-other duties

The Household Manager/ Housekeeper should be confident managing household inventories, and cleaning schedules - with confidence caring for delicate furnishings and finishes. Light PA duties may be required such as booking local appointments. The ability to cook simple meals would be beneficial

The Estate Manager should be skilled in exterior maintenance, happy to work alongside an existing gardening team, provide airport drop offs and collections, and liaise with external contractors. A chainsaw license or the willingness to acquire one and the ability to use a ride on lawnmower are ideal for this role

When entertaining, the Couple will host and welcome Guests, so should be confident being front of house. The couple should also be able to manage a household budget, and be fairly IT savvy

The Principals will be in-residence with other household staff (Nannies, Chef etc.), so the Couple should be willing team players, to ensure seamless service is provided at all times.

The Couple will also manage a weekly external cleaner who will assist with housekeeping duties at busier times. The Family have 2 children and 2 dogs so the Couple should be child- and pet- friendly

A separate 2 bedroom cottage is provided for the Couple’s sole use, with all utilities costs covered

To be considered for this role you must;

Be eligible to work within the UK
Have 5+ years previous experience as a private household Domestic Couple
Have excellent contactable references
Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
Possess full clean UK driving licenses
