We are seeking a highly qualified live in Nanny/cook for a wonderful family with 2 small children aged 2 and 4 for 40 hrs per week . Providing exceptional care in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and the ability to engage children in fun and creative activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a safe and stimulating atmosphere getting children ready for school, drop off and collect children ,prepare family style meals and do babysitting 2 nights per week this will be paid as over time or within the hours .

As this is a live in position a 2 bedroom cottage on the grounds is provided .

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games.
Prepare meals for the family and lunch and snacks for children , ensuring they are nutritious and cater to any dietary restrictions.
Getting children organised for school.
Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children, including tidying up after activities.
Car will be provided for transportation for children as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise.
Implement routines that support the children's development and well-being.

Skills

At least 2-3 years experience in nannying is essential.
Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning.
A valid driving licence is a must for transporting children safely.
Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the varying needs of children.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with children
Flexibility in adapting to different household routines
