We are still looking for our final special person to complete the tema supporting my brother in law who lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy & autism. My brother in law would love a male carer to complete his team, however applications are welcomed from anyone.
If you enjoy everyday being different, getting out and about in all weathers, spending time in the hot tub and swimming, throwing plastic balls at people, playing with toys, giving someone the independence to live their life, facing new challenges everyday and generally having a blast, then we want to hear from you.
If you are:
energetic;
adaptable;
fun;
fine with being silly;
able to be firm but fair;
able to support to do, not do for;
then we want to hear from you.
Driver essential - yes really essential - due to rural location.
There are varying levels of support required throughout my brother in law's day with all aspects of personal care, meals, daily living skills, activities and medication, and we, the family and existing care team, will give you full training in everything you need to know to support my brother in law in the right way so he can have the life he deserves.
Experience is not important - we are looking for the right person and personality, experienced or not. Fluent spoken English is required due to communication difficulties.
From £1300 per week (self employed) including travel allowance. Food allowance also provided. The rota is 2 weeks on 1 week off, to fit with current working pattern. If you have applied previously and been unsuccessful, there is no need to re-apply.
For more information or if you have specific questions, please call 07717497396. TO APPLY please email you CV and a covering email telling us a little about you.
