Barnsley Council have an exciting opportunity for a Field Support Officer in our Licensing Team, within Regulatory Services based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,790 - £25,183 per annum.

About the Post:

This is an ideal opportunity to join us as we grow the team. The successful candidate will provide support services to the licensing team as well as advising and supporting licensees and licence applicants.

To join us you’ll need a relevant level 2 qualification, previous experience using a range of computer applications and ICT including Microsoft Office, practical experience of dealing with members of the public. You’ll be able to work effectively on your own as well as part of a team and be able to undertake problem solving and make decisions. You’ll be working in a fast-paced licensing team, covering all aspects of Licensing including Taxis and Private Hires, Licensed Premises and Gambling Establishments.
