The Role – Learning Support Assistant

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students aged 11 - 19, excluded from mainstream schools – either due to behaviour or lack of Special Educational Needs (SEN) provisions. The aim of a Learning Support Assistant would be to aid the students’ progression into further education. The role requires managing challenging behaviour, so prior experience in behaviour management is essential.
