Menzies Distribution Ltd have an opportunity for IT Service Desk Admin Analyst to join our team that provide a 24/7 service desk operation which covers our whole business. Joining our friendly team, you will work closely with the Service Desk Manager who will support you in handling queries in the form of tickets via our Service Now system and carrying out 1st & 2nd line fixes. You will play an instrumental part in helping deliver a great service to the company. No two days will be the same!

THE DETAILS GBP22K Per Annum6 Month Fixed Contract Monday to Friday day shiftBased in Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ36.25 Hours Per Week / 8 hours per day covering between 07:00 - 19:00 WHAT YOU WILL DO Responding to and processing all incoming emails into the Service Desk central mailboxEnsuring all tickets are logged and tracked in the service management platform, service now.1st line support and first-time fix for common incidents/requestsFulfilling order requests and raising Purchase OrdersAbility to work within a team environmentParticipation in ad hoc project workParticipation in team meetings WHAT YOU NEED Ability to work remotelyExcellent telephone mannerAbility to problem solveExcellent customer service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCan work under pressureAbility to work independently INCLUSION At Menzies Distribution Limited, we want everyone to feel welcome, regardless of your background or needs.
